Shipping policy
Thank you for shopping with Te Fraai Diena ♡. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
1. Shipping Rates and Restrictions
- Flat Rate Shipping: We offer a R130 flat rate shipping fee across South Africa.
- Remote Areas: Additional charges may apply if your delivery address is located in a remote area. If you are unsure whether your address falls into a regional or remote category, please contact us via email with your details so we can provide a custom shipping quote.
- Delivery Exclusions: Please note that our courier partners cannot deliver to farms, plots, or mines.
- Our Courier Partners: We use The Courier Guy and Postnet to ship our orders. We do not utilize Pudo, Pep Paxi, or the South African Post Office.
2. Processing and Delivery Timelines
- Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days after you receive your order confirmation email. Our team makes every effort to fulfil your orders as quickly and carefully as possible.
- Delivery Time: Once collected by the courier, delivery takes between 2 to 5 business days.
- Shipping Location: We ship all products from Great Brak River. Unfortunately, overnight delivery options are not available for our area.
- High-Volume Delays: During periods of high order volumes (such as Black Friday, major holidays, and sales), shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay with your order, we will contact you directly via email.
- Delivery Dates: While we work to ensure speedy transit, we do not guarantee that your order will be dispatched or delivered on any specific date or time.
3. Delivery Terms and Conditions
- Delivery Hours: Deliveries take place on business days between 08h00 and 17h00. Orders will only be delivered to a valid physical address within South Africa.
- Accepting Delivery: You, or the person accepting delivery on your behalf, may be requested to produce a valid identification document when receiving the parcel.
- Failed Delivery Attempts: The courier will make two attempts to deliver your order. If you are unavailable, or if you decline to accept the parcel after two attempts, the order will be returned to our workshop. You will be held liable for any additional delivery charges to re-arrange shipping, or we may elect to cancel your order (in which event we will issue a store credit minus the delivery charges and a reasonable administration fee).
4. Tracking Your Order
- Tracking Details: When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification containing a tracking number to follow its status. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active on the courier's system.
- Delayed Parcels: If you have not received your parcel within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@tefraaidiena.co.za with your name and order number so we can investigate it for you immediately.
5. Order Assistance and Modifications
- Changing an Order: If you require assistance or notice a mistake in your order details, please contact us via email at info@tefraaidiena.co.za within 2 hours of placing your order.
- Lock-in Period: Once your package has been booked onto our courier partner's system, we are unable to change the contents, addresses, or details of your order.
6. Damages
Te Fraai Diena (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipment carrier directly to file an official claim. Please save all packaging materials and the damaged goods before lodging your claim.
